eFacade TILT by Mitrex utilizes building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) to create an angled rainscreen facade solution. Each 37 × 37 inch panel is tilted off the building face using custom mounting hardware that adds depth to the building envelope. The angular design introduces dynamic shadows across the wall—delivering powerful aesthetics and power generation in one integrated system.
eFacade TILT uses a dual-glass build consisting of a tempered glass facing layer with interchangeable colors, and a tempered glass backing. Between them are high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells laminated into a durable panel structure. Architects can specify any combination of the 23 available standard colors to create bold gradients, or uniform facades.
Features
Each eFacade TILT module delivers strong energy output using monocrystalline solar cells laminated within dual-glass construction. Energy production depends on sun exposure, building orientation, tilt angle, and local irradiance, reaching up to 15 W/ft² (160 W/m²) under optimal conditions.
With a unique tilted profile and 23 curated colors, eFacade TILT transforms vertical walls into dynamic design elements. The angled panels are available in sizes of 37 x 37 in, and can be individually flat-mounted with a system thickness of 3.58 in (90.9 mm) or angle-mounted with a range of 2.6-5.5 in (66.2-139.8mm) depth to add dimension to an otherwise flat facade.
Designed for streamlined installation, eFacade TILT comes with custom mounting hardware that ensures alignment and durability while maintaining ventilated rainscreen functionality.
